You could go with darker blues or lighter blues, but the most important factor is that the blue color should have dominate cool undertones.

Benjamin Moore Water’s Edge
Water’s Edge is a mid-tone blue color. I especially love this color when paired with white, and it makes a stunning kitchen island color for two tone kitchen cabinets.
Sherwin Williams Naval
If you’re wanting to go a darker, consider using Naval by Sherwin Williams. This deep navy blue is perfect to pair with grey flooring because, unlike other navy colors, the touch of grey undertones in the paint help tone down the rich saturation of the deep blue.

If you really want to brighten up a space, white paint color is always the best choice.
But there are so many white colors! And you’ll want to make sure you choose the right shade of white to coordinate with your grey flooring.

It’s just a wink warmer than Super White, but not so much that it would look creamy.
Sherwin Williams Extra White
Extra White can be a good choice for interior walls, but I wouldn’t recommend it for cabinetry.
On walls, Extra White will go really well with gray floors because the subtle blue undertone will keep the shade looking cool. But on cabinets, this shade can sometimes read more warm with subtle yellow undertones peeking through.

I feel like whenever I write about neutral or white paint colors, Pure White is always one of my top recommendations!
But this is for good reason! Pure White is hands down one of the best all-around white paint colors for interior walls.
There’s just the slightest hint of warmth in Pure White, but only enough to make this bright white feel soft and subdued, and nowhere close to make it look like creamy.

Is green the new grey?
Probably, but if we learned anything from the 2010s it’s this: DON’T GO OVERBOARD!

Personally I think an office, a guest bedroom or even a kitchen island would be the ideal places to experiment with this on-trend color.
