From renovating a fixer upper to earning a design certification from Parsons School of Design, I’ve been on a beautiful journey of paint colors, textures, and aesthetically pleasing spaces….
A look back to what led us here…
2018: That DIY Life
My love for design really took hold as my husband and I renovated our first house. There was a lot of trial and error, but I learned so much along the way!
2022: A New Chapter
What do you do when you’re finished renovating? Buy a new construction house, of course! If the fixer upper was where I got to develop technical skills, this new construction home is where I could focus on ‘the pretty’ with decorating and styling.
2024: Making It Legit
I decided I was ready to go all-in on interior design! I earned a design certification from Parsons School Of Design and started this blog, The White Laurel!
